Exporting Or Sharing Solution PDFs

When to export

Export a solution PDF after you have opened and reviewed a detailed result. The PDF should reflect the selected solution detail, not just a summary card.

• Use it when you need to share a reviewed solution with a colleague or project stakeholder.
• Use it after confirming the selected result still matches the current answers.
• Do not use an old PDF if the scenario answers, selected locale, or result detail has changed.

What the PDF includes

• BYLT-only branding.
• Solution title, manufacturer, discipline, category, generated by, generated company, and date.
• Fire ratings, warnings, limitations, summary or overview content.
• Materials, installation steps, references, image media, video links, and disclaimer.
• Localized labels and headings based on the current app locale.

How sharing works

   Open the solution detail

   Confirm the solution content, materials, and limitations before exporting.

2. 2
   Generate the PDF

   Use the export or share action from the selected detailed result.

3. 3
   Share or download

   The portal tries file sharing where supported and otherwise falls back to download or save behavior.

   Check the filename

   Solution PDFs follow the BYLT title-initials and date filename pattern.
