Creating A Quality-Control Template
A KS template is the reusable structure that becomes a project control plan when applied to a project.

What belongs in a template
A template should describe one repeatable quality-control workflow, such as receiving control, process control, final inspection, or deviations.
- Use title, version, and active state for template metadata.
- Use categories as business-friendly trade or work areas.
- Use control items for the actual checkpoints users inspect.
- Attach existing shared forms through form_id.
- Do not use removed KS fields such as method, timing, item number, scope, or documentation requirement.
KS is not the form builder
Create and publish forms in the shared form system. KS control items attach those forms but do not own form fields or form rules.
