Applying A Template To A Project

What gets copied

When a project control plan is created, the backend copies categories, control items, and attached form_id references. It does not copy form schemas, fields, or field rules.

• No category or item selection copies the full template.
• Selected categories copy those categories and all their control items.
• Selected items copy only those items and any required parent categories.
• Project plans become independent runtime structures after creation.
• Use sync preview and apply-safe only where the project sync flow is available.
